PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that in a lithographic printing plate to be developed with dampening water on a printing machine, scumming occurs due to insufficiency in an amount of dampening water in restart of printing and a great amount of defective printed matter (spoilage paper) is produced. SOLUTION: In a method for printing with a lithographic printing plate to be developed with dampening water on the printing machine, when printing is resumed after once stopping the printing, (α) a process for feeding dampening water by making a dampening roller contact to the lithographic printing plate rotating the plate cylinder and (β) a process for feeding ink by making an ink roller contact the ink are provided as a print resuming preparation process.
