PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a vibration insulation rubber which is composed mainly of an ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber and is excellent in heat resistance and high temperature durability, and a vibration insulation rubber. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for the vibration insulation rubber contains at least components (A)-(D): (A) an ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber, (B) a maleinized ethylene-α-olefin copolymer rubber, (C) an epoxidized natural rubber, (D) a natural rubber. In a preferable embodiment, the rubber composition for the vibration insulation rubber containing silica and the vibration insulation rubber obtained by vulcanizing the rubber composition for the vibration insulation rubber are presented. Preferably the weight ratio of the ethylene-α-olefin to the ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber is 80/20-40/60 and more preferably 65/35-45/55. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
