SURGE COUNTERMEASURE ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surge countermeasure element having an excellent surge-countermeasure processing for protecting the element having low withstand-voltage characteristics from an overvoltage such as a static electricity introduced from an antenna. SOLUTION: The self-induction by an inductor electrode 16 can be inhibited by a constitution in which the inductor electrode 16 forming the surge countermeasure element 10 is connected to a ground electrode 15 through an extended ground electrode 20, and the surge-countermeasure processing can be improved as the result. Accordingly, the surge countermeasure element is available as one used for a high-frequency circuit such as a communication apparatus. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
