PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device and its manufacturing method wherein contrast of display is improved, display characteristics are made superior by this, and life-prolongation can be realized as a result, and provide an electronic equipment equipped with this organic EL device. SOLUTION: This is the organic EL device 1 which is provided with a plurality of organic EL elements 10 composed of a positive electrode 111, a negative electrode 12, and a functional layer 110 including at least light-emitting layers 150 (150R, 150G, 150B) installed between the positive electrode 111 and the negative electrode 12 on an active matrix substrate, and which irradiates light emitted at the functional layer from the active matrix substrate side. The negative electrode 12 is provided and formed with an island-shaped pixel negative electrode 12a covering pixel regions formed by the functional layer 110 of the organic EL elements 10, and a wiring negative electrode 12b which is formed in a narrower width than that of the pixel negative electrode 12a, and which electrically connects between these pixel negative electrodes 12a.
