PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a take-up finishing method of pulling paper from a feed paper roll with a long width, and taking up the paper on a winding core (paper pipe) as a slit to a desired paper width by reducing the eccentric amount. SOLUTION: In the take-up method in which the paper is pulled from the feed paper roll on which the paper with the long width is taken up, the paper is cut to a predetermined paper width by a slitter, and the cut paper is taken up on the winding core. The paper is taken up on the winding core without cutting a predetermined length from the winding start of the paper pulled from the feed paper roll with a slitter, and the paper is cut to the predetermined paper width by the slitter and is taken up.
