PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming die, causing no deflection of a matrix even in the case of a large size to obtain a product having high punching accuracy. SOLUTION: This trimming die 8 includes a matrix 2 provided with a thin groove for fitting a cutting blade 1 and having a quadrilateral top view and the cutting blade 1 fitted in the thin groove. At least two side surfaces of two sides of the matrix 2 opposite to each other are reinforced by reinforcing members 5, 6, whereby the horizontal of the knife edge of the cutting blade 1 is kept.
