<p>A medical treatment instrument, comprising a rotary cutter (3) and another rotary cutter for medical treatment having a cutting surface outer diameter larger than the maximum cutting surface outer diameter of the rotary cutter (3) (initial cutting rotary cutter), wherein when a blood vessel stenosed site (2) is further increased in diameter, the initial cutting rotary cutter (3) is temporarily extracted to the outside of a body together with a drive shaft (4) and a fixed sheath (5) along a guide wire (1) and, on the guide wire 1, the rotary cutter for medical treatment is formed integrally with the initial cutting rotary cutter (3) extracted to the outside of the body to increase the outer diameter of the cutter, then the integrated cutter (unit cutter) is inserted again in the body to continuously apply a diameter increasing treatment to the blood vessel stenosed site (2).</p> |
