An electronic image accumulation method includes a face image registration phase and an image arrangement phase. The face image registration phase includes steps of: inputting a registered image, calculating a face feature amount of the face image in the registered image, and storing the feature amount as a registered face image. The image arrangement phase includes steps of: inputting an image to be arranged; calculating a face feature amount of the face image in the image to be arranged; detecting the face of the feature amount corresponding to the face feature amount obtained in the aforementioned image to be arranged, from the registered face images; and correlating the image to be arranged with the registered face image which has been detected.
