<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt moving device that deters a control system from shifting in position during switching and is then able to perform high-precision position control by correcting a detection position error between sensors when a signal of a marker provided to a transfer belt is detected by switching two detection sensors. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a surface position control means of reading a belt position signal by switching a 1st detection sensor or 2nd detection sensor according to whether the home position signal of the marker of the belt is ON or OFF and computing the difference between a belt surface target position and the belt position signal. According to the arithmetic result obtained by the surface position control means, the transfer belt is made to follow up the target position and also previously driven by the belt moving device for measurement, and when the transfer belt is primarily driven by the belt moving device, Δx is corrected in switching between the 1st detection sensor and 2nd detection sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
