<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information useful for a user of a candidate device for maintenance and inspection. <P>SOLUTION: A computer in a service center 6 collects maintenance and inspection information on the candidate device 12 for maintenance and inspection installed at a remote site, through a network 5, from the candidate device 12 for maintenance and inspection; transmits display information for the candidate device 12 for maintenance and inspection through the network 5; and displays the display information on the display 12a of the candidate device 12 for maintenance and inspection.
