PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a worker possible to recognize a place of defect part easily by marking automatically on the defect area of a continuously extruded article having a special shape. SOLUTION: In a production line 3 of a continuously extruded article having a special shape, a device 4 for detecting the defect part and a marking device 5 for making a mark are provided, and the devices and the production line are co-operated, whereby a clear marking is conducted by the marking device 5 on the area of the defect part 2 in the article 1 having a special shape.
