PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately make a recording reservation by correctly linking a receiver and a recorder when a broadcasted program is recorded with the receiver and the recorder as different bodies. SOLUTION: When a program received by the receiver for receiving a prescribed broadcast service is recorded, a recording reservation of a program to be broadcasted on a prescribed channel at a prescribed time is made. When the recording of the reserved program is prepared, control is performed to change the receiver to a mode in which channels can be switched when a receiving channel is not a prescribed channel after sending a command to switch the receiving channel to the prescribed channel to the receiver, and a command for switching the receiving channel to the prescribed channel is sent again after changing the mode.
