PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-intensity discharge helical lamp with high brightness and with a uniform distribution light volume on an irradiation face such as an exposure face and a printing face, as well as a high-intensity discharge helical lamp house. SOLUTION: The high-intensity helical discharge lamp house 3 has the high-intensity discharge helical lamp SM of which, a tube body 1 is formed into helix-shape, standing on an inner reflecting body 40 inside a base part 31. With this, the high-intensity discharge helical lamp with high brightness and a uniform distribution light volume, as well as the high-intensity discharge helical lamp house are obtained.
