PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the speed of copying a large-capacity hard disk drive device in a copying device. SOLUTION: A reading-side control means 30 converts data read from a copy source hard disk drive device 40 a from parallel signal to a serial signal and divide the serial signal into four. The divided serial signals are outputted to respective signal lines of a transfer bus 50 comprising four serial signal lines. A writing-side control means 31 synthesizes the received divided serial signals into parallel signals, and writes them to a copy destination hard disk drive device 41.
