PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display medium which realize a clearer display, a display device using the display medium, and a reversible display body. SOLUTION: The display medium consists of a display cell and a display composition included in the display cell. The display cell consists of: a substrate having, on one surface, an electrode and a vertical alignment liquid crystal alignment layer composed of a compound having a≥8C long chain alkyl group on the surface of the electrode; and a transparent substrate having, on one surface, a transparent electrode and a vertical alignment liquid crystal alignment layer composed of a compound with a≥8C long chain alkyl group on the surface of the electrode.
