PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator controlling the number of revolutions of a fan motor, having stable cooling capacity by detecting the abnormality of number of revolutions and notifying it when the output side of the fan motor driven by two outputs is disconnected. SOLUTION: When the power of this refrigerator 2 is turned on, a drive voltage DC14V for the fan motor 22 is applied by a first fan fixed voltage output means 35, and a command of a defined number Nr of revolutions is output by a first fan revolution number setting means 32. Next, by a first fan revolution number detecting means 31, the number Np of revolutions of the first fan motor is detected, and the number Nr of revolutions specified by the first fan revolution number setting means 32 and the number Np of revolutions detected by the first fan revolution number detecting means 31 are compared by a first fan notifying means 34 and when theses numbers are equal, normal refrigerator operation control is performed. When these numbers are not equal. it is considered to be abnormal and the abnormality is notified by the fan notifying means 34, and then the operation of the refrigerator is controlled.
