摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve startability of an internal combustion engine, by supplying fuel vapor with stable concentration in start of the internal combustion engine, in a fuel vapor processing device. SOLUTION: In the fuel vapor processing device for an internal combustion engine, an atmospheric air intake port 14 is formed in a fuel tank 10 to make the fuel tank 10 communicate with the outside so as to keep pressure in the fuel tank 10 in a range from approximately atmospheric pressure to positive pressure. A canister 22 may be connected with the air inlet port 14. In the start of the internal combustion engine 30, the fuel tank 10 communicates with an intake passage 32. Therefore, pressure in the intake passage 32 becomes negative pressure along with the start of the internal combustion engine. The action of the negative pressure makes the fuel tank 10 in the range from approximately the atmospheric pressure to positive pressure supply the fuel vapor to the intake passage 32.
