PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs by printing using a single-color printer, and to easily identify a commodity even if data on a plurality of commodities are continuously printed in a line. SOLUTION: Each line or the data on each commodity is shaded by using the monochrome printer, so that the commodity can be differentiated from the adjacent commodity. A commodity group, which can be continuously printed in a line, constitutes one paragraph, and the respective data on the commodities, continuously printed in the line, are made different in shading or color from one another, so that each of the commodities can be easily identified. In the use of a color printer, many colors can also be used for a shaded part, and the concurrent use of the shading and the color further facilitates the identification of the commodity.
