PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling-inserting machine for inserting the seedling into a seedling-growing tool, capable of performing the seedling-inserting work continuously, and constituting the whole of the seedling-inserting machine as compact while improving the working efficiency. SOLUTION: In this seedling-inserting machine equipped with a seedling-inserting device for inserting the seedling into a seedling bed of the seedling-growing tool conveyed by a seedling growing tool-conveying device and a seedling-supplying device for supplying the seedlings which are inserted by the seedling-inserting device, the seedling-supplying device is equipped with many seedling-housing bodies for housing the seedlings one by one, the seedling-housing bodies move circularly in the upper side of the seedling-growing tool-conveying device in a crossing direction with the conveying direction of the seedling-growing tool, one end of the circularly moving locus is protruded further in a side direction than the seedling-growing tool-conveying device and the seedling-inserting device is installed in the upper side of the seedling-growing tool-conveying device as capable of holding the seedlings housed in the seedling-housing bodies of the seedling-supplying device.
