摘要 A wrong operation preventive device of a variable geometry turbocharger is provided to control and reduce load of the variable geometry turbocharger accurately by opening a bypass passage automatically according to difference between pressure of the bypass passage and pressure of suction air. A wrong operation preventive device of a variable geometry turbocharger is composed of a pressure detecting unit installed in a suction air inflow passage between an air cleaner(102) and a compressor(106) to detect suction pressure, and a bypass open system(110) formed independently of a suction air guide passage(104) for guiding suction air from the air cleaner to the compressor to regulate an amount of suction air bypassed to the compressor from the air cleaner according to difference of suction pressure detected by the pressure detecting unit. The pressure detecting unit comprises a first pressure sensor(A) mounted in an outlet of the air cleaner in the suction air guide passage connecting the air cleaner to the compressor, a second pressure sensor(B) mounted in the bypass open system and a third pressure sensor(C) mounted in an inlet of the compressor in the middle of the suction air guide passage connecting the air cleaner to the compressor.
