OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM AND OPTICAL REPRODUCING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium wherein a plurality of data are optically multiplexed in one hologram pattern by suitably combining a mask pattern with recording data and multiplexed data can be promptly and smoothly read by simultaneously reading scattered light introduced to an external part from upper and lower surfaces and to provide a reproducing device therefor.

SOLUTION: Masks 306a and 306b are respectively set in mask patterns corresponding to information to be reproduced. Thereby, for example, a hologram image according to a first information to be reproduced is image-formed on a CCD 305a and a hologram image according to a second information to be reproduced is image-formed on a CCD 305b. These hologram images are subjected to pickup processing by the CCD 305a and the CCD 305b to perform read-out processing of the first information and the second information to be reproduced.
