<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component guide device capable of controlling troubles taken in exchanging a main part to house various kinds of components constituting a wire harness. <P>SOLUTION: The component guide device 1 sequentially shows electric wire housing cylinders 18 to house electric wires 6 in which terminal metal fittings 5 to be housed in a terminal housing room 4 of a connector housing 3 is mounted . The component guide device 1 is provided with an electric wire housing shelf 13, an irradiation unit 14, and a control device 16. The electric wire housing shelf 13 is provided with a plurality of electric wire housing cylinders 18. The irradiation unit 14 is provided with a driving part 21 and a laser light-emitting device 22. The driving part 21 rotates the laser light-emitting device 22 along arrow heads K, M. The laser light-emitting device 22 irradiates a laser beam to either one of the electric housing cylinders 18. The control device 16 memorizes a turn of the terminal metal fittings 5 to be inserted into the terminal housing room 4 of the connector housing 3.
