<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise reduction device for a piston pump capable of reducing noise occurring while driving a piston pump. <P>SOLUTION: The noise reduction device 10 is equipped with a tank 14 communicating with a cylinder 32 of the piston pump 12 for storing working oil supplied to the cylinder 32, a sliding member 88 for pressurizing the working oil inside the tank 14, and a coil spring 100 for energizing pressurizing force to the sliding member 88. Pressure inside the cylinder 32 is kept from becoming negative by pressurizing the working oil inside the tank 14 by the sliding member 88 and the coil spring 100. Occurrence of bubbles due to a cavitation phenomenon therefore can be suppressed, and occurrence of noise due to impact waves occurring upon burst of bubbles and corrosion of a metal surface can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
