<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus enabling to obtain correct fixing temperature data. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an engine controller 3 having a fixing temperature control function whose power is shut down when energy is saved; a network interface; a printer controller 2 having an energy saving control function. Using fixing temperature estimation data held in the printer controller 2 and fixing temperature data obtained by an engine controller 3 when energy saving is restored, wherein fixing temperature data at the time of the subsequent reception of a print command are corrected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
