<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal information transmitting system allowing a third person to obtain personal information of all occupants in a vehicle if an emergency arises. <P>SOLUTION: The personal information transmitting system includes an IC card 2 for storing user identification information for identifying a user of the vehicle, and an on-vehicle device 3 transmitting personal information to an external device 4 based on the user identification information stored in the IC card 2. The on-vehicle device 3 is provided with a receiving means 11 receiving the user identification information from the IC card 2, a storing means 12 storing the user identification information and the personal information corresponding to the user identification information, a personal information obtaining means 13 obtaining the personal information corresponding to the user identification information received by the receiving means 11 from the storing means 12, and a detecting means 14 detecting an emergency of a vehicle, and a transmitting means 15 transmitting the personal information obtained by the personal information obtaining means 13 to the external device when an emergency is detected by the detecting means 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
