<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cell-activating agent, a bleaching agent and an antioxidant, exhibiting excellent effects; and a composition exhibiting excellent activities of the cell-activating agent, the bleaching agent and the antioxidant by formulating the cell-activating agent, the bleaching agent and the antioxidant, exhibiting the excellent effects. <P>SOLUTION: An extract of a plant belonging to the genus Ophioglossum of Ophioglossaceae having the cell-activating activities is used as the cell-activating agent. An extract of the plant belonging to the genus Ophioglossum of the Ophioglossaceae having the bleaching activities is used as the bleaching agent.
