PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge equipment inspection device and a bridge equipment inspection method using this bridge equipment inspection device, for easily and quickly inspecting an optional position such as an under surface of a bridge, compact in the size, and easy in assembling work and installation work. SOLUTION: This bridge equipment inspection device has a traveling carriage 5, a first arm 6 arranged on the carriage 5, and rotating with the longitudinal direction as the axis. a second arm 8 extending in the substantially vertical direction to the first arm 6, a driving part 7 installed on the first arm 6, and rotating the second arm 8 with the longitudinal direction as the axis, a third arm 9 installed on the second arm 8, and expandably constituted in the longitudinal direction, and a camera 10 installed on the second arm 8 and/or the third arm 9.
