PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply constitute a cage for animal trapping having both simultaneously closable openings, to reduce a manufacturing cost and to surely trap an animal without a fear of letting the animal go by installing locking mechanisms. SOLUTION: This cage for animal trapping comprises a cage body 1 having openings 2 and 2 for animal entering formed at both edge walls, a pair of rise and fall doors 4 and 4 for opening and closing the openings by sliding, a pair of hanging wires 6 and 6 hanging the rise and fall doors at one side ends and furnished with hooks 8 and 8 at the other ends, a wire tying shaft 12 which is pivotally supported rotatably in a horizontal plane at one side part of the cage body and is protrusively equipped with tying parts 13 and 13 to hang and fix the hooks at both sides, a cantilever 14 which prevents the wire tying shaft from rotating so as to keep the rise and fall doors in a lifted state and a trap yarn 19 having one end connected to the cantilever and stretched in the cage body. The cage for animal trapping is equipped with the locking mechanisms 20 and 20 having constitution that the tying of the hang wires is removed when the cantilever is moved by pulling of the trap yarn to make the wire tying shaft rotatable, the rise and fall doors fall by dead load to simultaneously close both the openings, and the locking mechanisms are automatically connected to lock the rise and fall doors in a state when the rise and fall doors fall.
