PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower capable of preventing lowering of air volume performance caused by a rotary base plate by sucking air with entire blades, and also capable of reducing noises. SOLUTION: The blower 1 is equipped with a centrifugal fan 2 in which a plurality of blades 6 are fixed to an outer peripheral edge part of the rotary base plate 5 at predetermined intervals, a brushless motor 3 for rotating and driving the centrifugal fan 2, and a case 4 for storing part of the centrifugal fan 2 and the brushless motor 3. The rotary base plate 5 comprises a flat plate shaped disk, and a rotor part 8 of the brushless motor 3 is inserted into and fixed to a hole part 9 formed on a central part of the disk. Thus, air sucked into the inside of the centrifugal fan 2 can be sucked by the entire blades 6 without interference with the rotary base plate 5 to improve air volume performance.
