PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wood connecting structure easily achieving connection by framework structure with a dovetail, a flat tenon, or the like in connecting wood such as a beam and a column or a column and a sill and moreover bringing about the strength of wood to the maximum. SOLUTION: In this wood connecting structure, a fitting projection 1b provided at the end face of a first wood 1 is fitted to a fitting hole 2b provided in the side face of a second wood 2, to connect them. Both side faces 1d, provided along the width direction of the second wood, of the fitting projection are respectively provided with grooves, and the side face 2c of the second wood is piercingly provided with pinholes 2f matching the grooves of the fitting projection. The fitting projection is fitted into the fitting hole, and the grooves and the pinholes are adjusted to insert connecting pins 3.
