PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing method for a pneumatic conveyor capable of efficiently washing transportation piping, a hopper, and a rotary feeder. SOLUTION: In washing of this pneumatic conveyor, a blower 18 is detached from a ferrule joint 32 of the transport piping 16, a washing water injection device 100 and a nozzle unit 102 are attached to the ferrule joint 32. After a cover member 112 having a vent 110 formed thereon is attached to an upper part opening part 13 of the hopper 12, a pump 104 of the washing water injection device 100 is driven and washing water W in a hot water tank 104 is injected toward the transportation piping 16 from a nozzle of a nozzle unit 102 to start washing the transportation piping 16. Deposit adhering on a blade and a shaft part of a rotary feeder 14 is peeled off and washed by rotating the rotary feeder 14. An inner surface of the hopper 12 is washed by washing water W gradually corrected in the hopper while being stirred by rotation of the blade of the rotary feeder 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
