PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a door opening/closing detecting unit even to game machines of different models such as Pachinko-slot machines, and also, to attach the door opening/closing detecting unit to the game machine itself without newly adding an electric part or an electric circuit. SOLUTION: This door opening/closing detecting unit which is attached to a game machine such as a Pachinko game machine or a Pachinko-slot machine is constituted of a setting base which is fixed to the game machine having an opening/closing door, a unit base which is slidably attached to the setting base, a fixing means which fixes the setting base to the unit base, a sensor dog which is attached to the unit base and mechanically detects the opening/closing of the door of the game machine, and a means which actuates an electric switch device which is provided at a section other than the game machine by the detecting motion of the sensor dog. When the door opening/closing detecting unit is attached, a magnet is utilized so that the positioning is made easier and surer, and also, electric parts or devices are not included in the game machine itself.
