摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the carcinogenesis degree of a specimen originated from a mammal on the basis of the detection of a genetic abnormality, suitable for evaluating a diagnosis method for the early discovery of a cancer, a treating method, or the like. SOLUTION: This method for evaluating the carcinogenesis degree of the specimen originated from the mammal is characterized by having (1) the first process for measuring the methylation frequency of fibrillin 2 gene contained in the specimen originated from the mammal or an index value having a correlation with the methylation frequency, and (2) the second process for judging the carcinogenesis degree of the specimen on the basis of a difference obtained by comparing the measured methylation frequency or correlation with the methylation frequency with a control.
