The arrangement has an elastomer ring (2) and a support ring (3) engaging on the shoulder of the elastomer ring. This ring has a second peripheral shoulder (8) on the inner circumference, opposite to the first shoulder (6) on the outer circumference. The second shoulder carries a second support ring (4). The second ring is radially elastic relative to the high internal expansion pressure like the first support ring, and axially more inflexible relative to the pressure, than the elastomer ring. The support rings are integrally connected to each other and on the side facing the elastomer ring, they have a common peripheral groove, which engages around the shoulders.
