<p>The teeth of the user are accommodated in soft U-shaped covers (20, 21), each fitted with one element of a locking unit (3, 4). The upper unit is attached to the lower surface in the front area of the cover (20) and assembled of a base (22) comprising an adjusting mechanism (2, 17) and a T-shaped locking element (3, 15) extending from the base (22). The lower unit is designed as a kidney-shaped element (4) with a long central opening (10) attached to the upper surface of the lower cover (21). Before going to bed the two elements (3, 4) can be engaged, preventing the jaws of the user from separating.</p> |
