METHOD FOR CONTROLLING MODULATION AND CODING APPLYING FOR MULTI-INPUT MULTI-OUTPUT SYSTEM IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION

A method for controlling a modulation and coding method of data applied to an MIMO(Multi-Input Multi-Output) system through mobile communication is provided to apply an MCS(Modulation and Code Set) of the same data to all antennas, to reduce a signaling overhead transmitted from a receiving side, thereby assigning much power during data transmissions, consequently a transmission efficiency is increased. A transmitting side receives CSI(Channel State Information) corresponding to each antenna. A common modulation method is determined to transmit different data from plural transmission antennas by using the CSI. A signal applied with the common modulation method is transmitted by using the plural antennas. When determining the modulation method, a modulation method corresponding to a certain antenna having the best channel state is commonly applied to the plural antennas.
