A fragrance spraying device for a car and its method are provided to quickly help with the psychological stability of a driver and passengers by stopping spraying general fragrance but automatically spraying aroma fragrance in case of emergency. The fragrance spraying device comprises: an automatic fragrance spray switch(10); an ABS operating sensing unit(20) which senses an operating state of an anti-lock braking system and converting the same to a predetermined electric signal and outputting the same in an ABS operation; a TCS operation sensing unit(30) which senses an operating state of a traction control system and converting the same to a predetermined electric signal and outputting the same in an TCS operation; an ECS operation sensing unit(40) which senses an operating state of an electronic control suspension and converting the same to a predetermined electric signal and outputting the same in an ECS operation; an emergency lamp operation sensing unit(50) which senses an operating state of an emergency lamp and converting the same to a predetermined electric signal and outputting the same in an emergency lamp operation; a control unit(60) which outputs a control signal so as to stop spraying general fragrance and start spraying aroma fragrance if the ABS, TCS, ECS or emergency lamp is operated in a state that the automatic fragrance spray switch(10) is turned on; a general fragrance spray portion which stops spraying general fragrance by an output signal of the control unit(60); and an aroma fragrance spray portion(80) which performs aroma fragrance spraying by an output signal of the control unit(60).
