<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for detecting a pantograph and a trolley line without detecting those erroneously, when various objects are reflected in an image of a camera image with various shapes. <P>SOLUTION: In this image processor for detecting an edge of the trolley line by edge detection, based on an input image, to vote coordinates of the detected edge to a Hough space by Hough conversion, and for detecting an apex of the devoted Hough space to detect the trolley line of a straight line, operators using a feature of a constant size having the large number of vertical-directional edges on the image in the trolley line are product-summed up in the image to detect the edge of the trolley line, in the edge detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
