<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus whose maintenance is performed with an easy operation. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with: a housing 21; image carrier units 10K_1 to 10Y_1 equipped with an image carrier roll and a frame for storing the image carrier roll; developing devices 14K to 14Y for attracting toner to an electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of the image carrier roll when the electrostatic latent image passes through the prescribed developing position; and a storage part 22 which is freely attachably/detachably stored in the housing 21, and wherein the image carrier units 10K_1 to 10Y_1 and the developing devices 14K to 14Y are stored, and the image carrier units 10K_1 to 10Y_1 stored in the part 22 are drawn out along a drawing direction from a developing position to the upstream side in the rotating direction of the image carrier roll in a state where the storage part 22 is drawn out from the housing 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
