<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently search huge print material data for print material data preferred by a user, present them to the user, and provide the print material data as print data printable on a user's printer. <P>SOLUTION: A print data providing server has a print material database (DB) 14 accumulating print material data, a user information DB 12 accumulating user information about every user, a print material data use history DB 13 accumulating a past print material data use history of every user, and print material data searching/print data providing means 11 for searching each DB, in response to a search request from a user, for print material data provided for the search requesting user to present the print material data found to the user, and when print material data provided for the user are decided, providing the print material data for the user as print data adapted to the performance of the user's printing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
