<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying a crystalline fluororesin, and to obtain the fluororesin purified by the method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for purifying the crystalline fluororesin is characterized by bringing the crystalline fluororesin (for example, ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer) into contact with a medium containing supercritical carbon dioxide to extract and remove impurities (for example, fluorine atom-containing impurities such as fluorinated low polymers having mol. wts. of≤50,000, an emulsifier and a polymerization initiator), and, the fluororesin purified by the method is disclosed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
