<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device and a communication information management device used in an IP multicast transfer system. <P>SOLUTION: By a system comprising a multicast communication information management device 1 (VLM), a multicast transfer device 2 (VLR) and a communication device 3, a multicast communication on the Internet is realized. The VLR 2 composes a VLR management area for managing its subordinate communication device 3, and performs a transmission to the communication device 3 by using a unique IP multicast address within the VLR management area. On the other hand, the VLM 1 composes a VLM management area for managing the VLR 2 participating a group communication (VMC session) managed by the VLM 1, and notifies to the VLR 2 participating the same VMC session, necessary information for communication with another VLR 2, thereby enabling a data transfer of the VMC session with the VLR. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
