<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote testing system which can raise an efficiency and an accuracy of remote testing and to provide a gateway unit. <P>SOLUTION: The remote testing system includes a plurality of the gateway units each for performing a protocol conversion between a network corresponding to a first communication protocol and a communication terminal corresponding to a second communication protocol for a voice communication disposed in a network, and performs the remote testing by using the function of the gateway unit. A channel for the voice communication is set between a test designating side gateway unit and a test designated side gateway unit or between the test designated side gateway units from each other in the network, a channel for testing is set in the network between the test designating side gateway unit and one or a plurality of the test designated side gateway units, and the remote test regarding a communication via the channel for the voice communication is executed based on information obtained via the channel for the testing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
