<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent operation from becoming unstable even if wax component contained in fuel is solidified. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel injection valve 1 is constituted by fixing a nozzle 3 constituted by guiding a nozzle needle 32 inserted into a through hole 33 in a nozzle body 1 by the through hole 33 and moving it in the axial direction to open and close a nozzle hole 35 to a tip part of a nozzle holder 2. This valve is provided with a tapered part 33B widening toward the nozzle holder 2 in the through hole 33. Consequently, even if component included in fuel is solidified, the solidified substance can be speedily discharged through a clearance G which is formed between the nozzle needle 32 and the through hole 33 and becomes a fuel leak passage.
