PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field-of-view assisting instrument of a mobile through which a user can easily grasp the positional relation between a visible range and an unvisible range and can eliminate a dead angle. SOLUTION: The field-of-view assisting instrument of a mobile comprises a camera 10 mounted on the mobile and capable of acquiring an image with an angle of a field wider than the field of the view of a user, an image processing means 32 performing processing for correcting the distortion of an image acquired by means of the camera 10, and a display 40 capable of displaying an image corrected by the image processing means 32. The display 40 displays the corrected image while scrolling automatically. Furthermore, a means 32 for detecting a moving object based on the corrected image is provided and when the moving object existing in a scheduled advancing range or approaching the scheduled advancing range is detected, the automatic scroll of the corrected image is stopped in the display 40 and the moving object is followed up and displayed automatically.
