PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor which enables further reduction of ESR. SOLUTION: A solid electrolytic layer consisting of a conductive polymer is formed on a capacitor element of a sintered body formed by sintering valve metal powder and having an anode oxide film on the surface thereof. Silver paste formed by mixing silver powder particles with mean particle diameter of 0.2-20μm, silver nano-particles with mean particle diameter of 1-100 nm, and a predetermined binder is applied on the conductive polymer layer, and is sintered in the temperature range of 150-350°C to form a conductive layer.
