PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconductor having small decrease for Jc and increasing Ic, even if the thickness of the superconducting layer is increased at a lamination film-forming method, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: The superconductor 100 is manufactured by forming a superconducting layer 2 on a base layer 1 by applying twice or more of film formation, wherein the thickness of the superconducting film at every film formation is to be 0.3μm or smaller. The superconductor 100 is composed of a superconducting layer 2 having a thickness of 0.75μm to 3.0μm, formed by applying not less than three times film formation on the base layer 1, where the thickness of the superconducting film at every film formation is 0.3μm or smaller.
