PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize display of graphics and reproduction of speech at an information terminal which is dependent on a graphic display status by correlating file descriptions of scalable vector graphics within a file of a multi-media source such as speech by a substantially easy and effective format description method. SOLUTION: This system comprises; a designation means for designating a size of a total display of the scalable vector graphics; a partial area designation means for designating a partial display from the total display; a display designation means for designating a display of a specific vector graphics; a correlation means for correlating the multi-media source such as a specific figure, a speech and a moving picture to the graphics; a display/replay means for displaying/replaying the multi-media source; and a control means for controlling the operation of the display/replay means according to a specific vector graphics display status on the scalable vector graphics.
