PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent photothermographic imaging material having high sensitivity and low fog with respect to photographic performances, and also to provide a photothermographic imaging material excellent in storage stability before development (abbreviated as raw stock preservability) and in storage stability after development (abbreviated as image preservability). SOLUTION: In the photothermographic imaging materials with a photosensitive layer containing photosensitive silver halide grains, an organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder, formed on a support, a DNA compound is contained.
