PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide apparatus for assisting instant dispatch of a fish. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a holding means for holding a fish at a predetermined position while regulating movement of the fish and a blade arranged to push down toward the rear part of gills of the fish held in the held state, wherein the holding means has a guiding member arranged to easily make the rear part of gills in an open cylindrical state and simply inserting the fish, and is slanted to make the head of fish down.
